INTEGRATED WORKFLOWS

Integrity, trust and understanding are the essential principles which we work by. A factual incident or real life situation can only be captured and turned into a compelling story when the entire team works as an ensemble. The integrated workflow acts as our DNA; strategically building upon each other in a concise sequence.

1. INFORMATION

Information is the first step of every journey. From the very beginning it is important to acquire the right understanding of the situation and the story. Our researchers follow up on leads from both our media contacts, as our tactical partners. Experts in specialized fields such as the Police, Fire, Law, Military and Human Interest are consulted regarding the tactical, editorial and financial approach to the possible story.

2. THEME

Brainstorming is the crucial next step in developing a theme. Several aspects need to be further considered such as the market feasibility, is there a demand for such a story? If so, who exactly are the target audience? Cost breakdowns are needed in order to develop a budget and provide a price.

3. DESK RESEARCH

A good story is developed based on a thorough examination of our leads. Our experts verify sources by conducting under the radar research on internet and social media.

4. CONCEPT

A concept is developed from a theme which is the central focus or purpose of the story. The story becomes the ‘product’, which is then presented to the media partners. Budgets, timelines and contractual agreements are confirmed.

5. FIELD RESEARCH

The editors, directors, writers and production team work on drafting the first script based on a detailed synopsis. The tactical side of production examines the best approach to unfolding the story.

6. PRE-PRODUCTION

A working budget is created by the producers in order, to transform the story into a logistical plan. The technical team is set up and briefed on the best method in capturing content.

7. TACTICAL PLANNING

The tactical officer devises a technical plan within the financial feasibility of a budget. This includes organizing the team, schedules, and audio -visual possibilities.

8. PRODUCTION

It is now time to begin filming. Camera crews are ready, skilled and trained in dealing with adverse conditions and challenging environments. Working together as a team, taking the lead from the tactical officer who is experienced with maneuvering in covert setups and partaking in undercover work. Filming is executed in all settings, day or night, in international environments, on location or in the studio. Due to the sensitive nature of some of our themes, we put full trust into the hands of our crew as they know that diplomacy is the backbone of our projects.

9. EXECUTION

Our team is well aware of the extreme conditions they may or may not encounter when filming. Therefore, trust is placed with the tactical officer who is experienced in making choices in the best interest of the team and the project.

10. POST – PRODUCTION

This is a vital stage in the evolution of a story. All material is assembled in one location to optimize speed and efficiency. Multiple in-house editing suites allow us to fully concentrate on the entire post production process. Sensitive data is secured on in-house servers, and only authorized personnel are permitted access to footage, raw data, and confidential material. Material which is not used is secured in an archive.

11. CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

We strongly believe that creating a one-off production is not efficient. Therefore, material is stored in our content libraries. This enables you to access and use material whenever it is required. For example, at conferences, meetings or workshops. To streamline future projects together we can use your archived footage.
